Research Center for Environmental Changes, Academia Sinica (Taipei, Taiwan), Research Positions in Climate, Aquatic and Atmospheric Science

The Research Center for Environmental Changes (RCEC, see homepage at (http://www.rcec.sinica.edu.tw/indexen.php) of the Academia Sinica (Taipei, Taiwan) invites applications for tenure track research positions at the ranks of assistant, associate and full research fellows and for post-doctoral appointments in its three major areas of emphasis: climate, aquatic, and atmospheric sciences. The positions are opened to candidates in any specific area of research within these broad fields. We like to encourage especially candidates with a research interest in global and regional climate, hydrological cycle and water resources, and physical and satellite oceanography to apply. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in a related field and a track record of demonstrated research excellence. In addition to developing their own research programs, the chosen individuals are also expected to engage in collaborative interdisciplinary research efforts with other RCEC principal investigators.
